Aye, good lineup. However, Warnock might be dropped with Finnan inserted into the midfield and Josemi in his usual spot. I'd rather Finnan was just replaced by Josemi though.

Hopefully we will keep Warnock in there on the left, he seems to do well everytime he steps on the pitch.

Not taking anything away from Warnock, he put up a fine perfomance today. But I still have faith in Kewell, my favourite player on any day. He should start if he's fit, ahead of his understudy Warnock.

I don't quite think Stephen Warnock would be up to the Champions League test as much as Harry Kewell would be [crossing fingers that Kewell can get his form back]. So if we had Harry Kewell on the left and Luis-Garcia on the right I'd be a happy camper going into this CL tie. I think we're right in saying that we'll start with two strikers for this one, and it's most probably what Rafa will do. I'm also happy with Garcia on the right, he had a great game on saterday, and was even more class when he was on the right wing, shows you what kind of player he is.

Scoreline: 2-0 to the 'pool. Though if a catastrophe comes upon us, I'd settle for a draw away from Home. [let's hope Deportivo and Monaco have a bland 0-0 draw aswell]

Kewell for Warnock if Harry's thigh straign is recovered in time, otherwise Finnan in midfield and Warnock on the bench.

No coms from me -- I'll be at work and the fascist CIO (me) won't allow streaming audio any way. Also my local is showing the game at 5PM through Setanta so I'll be seeing it almost live by avoiding the net past 2:30 EDT.

I noticed an article in the Echo today in which JAR talked about the season. He pointed out that playing with SW was ok " he knows when to get back and cover when I get forward". That's why I'd rather SW, until Harry is fully fit. We'll get twice as much offense because JAR will attack more and we'll get twice as much defense since Harry will never be accused of playing any.

Kewell will be available for selection, and I think he will be chosen. I love Rafa's attitude going into these matches. Playing for a draw is out of the question. Under Benitez, Liverpool plays to win in every game, home or away.

That's exactly how it should be!

I had almost forgotten about FSP or his other compadre ALeT. Hope they get a run at some stage this season.

but this is why I am proud to be an LFC fan. Of course, I still hope we smack them around to the tune of say 3-0 :).

Okay...need a favor. I know I've been cranky lately, and some people around probably think I'm a bit of a dickhead, but whatever. Today is my thirty-first birthday, and I won't be able to listen via the stream nor access bigsoccer.com. Is anyone gonna be listening who has AIM or Yahoo IM?? I'm only asking for updates on goals, red cards, subs, etc, etc.

Did I mention it's my birthday??

There a reason why nobody's doing PbP? Did I miss a memo or something? Will there be furious anger if I pick it up?

Work was finished quicker than I thought...I still can't listen, but here's some stuff from Fooball365.com. It aint' looking good.

50 mins: Liverpool have slowed the game down as they pass between the back four.

49 mins: Georgatos has another go, but his 30-yard shot is blocked.

48 mins: Giovanni finds Okkas on the right, his cross is cut out by Josemi - corner to the Greeks. Rivaldo swings ont he corner. Georgatos attempts a volley as the ball drops - it is a good effort but beats the wrong side of the post.

47 mins: Liverpool appear to have started the second half much the same as the first as they continue to give the ball away.

46 mins: Harry Kewell is on for Warnock as the second half gets underway.

45 mins: Liverpool are
