Another reason I hate the wanker. All he had to say was "He is a great player, I like his attitude." Is this not considered tapping up a player as its obviously got to be unsettling to SWP?

Unless we buy a striker over the winter, due to the Mutu/Forsell issues, I think SWP is the player we'd go for. We're full everywhere else.
Also, I have a funny feeling we might see Duff Drogba and Robben as the top 3 in a 4-3-3 one of these days soon, which might reduce the need for carrying 4 strikers and make it easier to get a player like SWP more time in the side.

Do you think when Pele, Maradonna, Cruyff or any other greats played that the opponent coachs never said that those players are going to be dangerous and are very good?
and i dont think its unsettling to praise a good player

 "At the moment I do not want to say we are buying him but he is one of the interesting players on the right flank in England. Could he be at Arsenal one day? It is not impossible but I don't know yet. "
Yes, that's just like saying he's very good. Exactly the same.

The only thing we're missing right now is a pacey right winger, SWP would fill that void quite nicely. Just imagine the crosses we would see with Bridge and Duffer on the left and Ferreira and SWP on the right. Drogba would be scoring at will, methinks.

I'd have to say they would have the lead in the race that will develope for him.
If he continues to have good games and gets a chance in the National side from time to time he won't be at City for much longer. No doubt he'd look for one of the top teams to go to.He's not needed at United.
Although, as Nice pointed out, i'd really like to see that 4-3-3 for a while at our club first.
