Pure Hollywood claptrap and self-promotion.

Back on topic for a moment. Soccernet had some specifics on the share trading price and the structure of the share distribution that I hadn't seen recently. Thought I should post it for those who want a rough idea of the numbers behind this:
"Moores currently owns 18,000 of Liverpool's 35,000 shares. It is a private company so share prices fluctuate and accounts should be issued in about six weeks ahead of a January AGM.
Exactly how much the club is worth is open to debate. At the top level at £4,000 a share it is worth £140m, but shares have changed hands recently for £2,000 each, which would put the club's value at £70m.
This year some shares have changed hands for as little as £1,800 while others have been sold for nearer £4,000.
Granada are the third biggest shareholders and are believed to want to sell their 10% stake, while there is also a block of 15,000 unsold shares that can be used by the board as they see fit."
Besides, who wants some damn dirty Yank getting their hands on our club? What do they know about football anyway?

I have to agree with you, I honestly don't like seeing foreginers getting involved fiancially with soccer teams. Keep it local, or at least national.
"Anybody know the Queen, I bet she wouldn't mind putting down a "few" pounds on the team, much like Real Madrid, King owns the team."
And to American investors especially, if you want a team, MLS is your league.

Stig was primed to use a joke on the name of their venture - Milkshake Films. Seemed too easy.
Back on topic for a moment.
Heheh...seems like a job for Transfer Rumors, Tabloid lies and Nonsense. Then Stig saw this:

"We are just two die-hard Liverpool-born fans who are sick of the last 15 years of mediocrity and seeing the club fall behind other franchises like Manchester United."
“We travel extensively and it is massively depressing to see kids in Santa Monica or Cape Town wearing Manchester United shirts."
Any takers?

They sound like us, but with money. ;)Say, we haven't heard from Matt in awhile. Did he hop the pond, start a film company, and bank more money than Scrooge McDuck in the last month?
