I love Training Day even more than Denzel Washington!

I'm training stamina this week, by mistake really. I completely forgot I had an international friendly, so I totally missed adding my other trainees.

My team needs stamina badly anyway.

doesnt stamina train everyone in your squad regardless if they play in a match?

That is correct sir.

Yup. That's why it is a nice "Ooops!" training for playmaking trainers.

Form was +3/-4. My ace IM is back up to solid form finally. Not that it matters. The team i am playing on sunday is a complete disaster.

One 17 year old to excellent scoring. So that brings the Heavy Water striker corps to:

three formidables, two excellents, and one passable.

2 IMs had passing pops. One of them my youth pull from last week.

Form officially down 1 overall which doesn't sound bad, but almost everyone dropped in value. Ugh...

1 experience pop.

Nice week for me.

17 yo Romanian IM to formidable and 20 yo Swede to brilliant.

Form ended up +4 overall. One of normal starting IM's remained at poor form. He still won't start this week.

I'm confused about the Swede. He spent some time injured since his last pop and according to Buddy, he only got 6 weeks of training since then. I'm not complaining though. Way cool.

What about passing? How does that train? It is everyone on the team like stamina? Is it just everyone who plays? Or is it a certain position on the field?

My backup goalie got shot during our friendly on Wednesday and will be out for 5 weeks, and I don't want to buy a new trainee at the end of the season, so I figure I'll just train something else for now. My stamina is already good, and I want my form to stay where it is for my qualifier in 2 weeks (all of my first choice starters are passable or better, most are solid, and my best player is excellent!), so I figure passing is the way to go unless it's not like stamina.

Aside from my 2 keepers who are both under 20, I only have these guys who are in the "training range" so if passing isn't for everyone, what would you guys recommend training for these guys?

None of these guys ever play in league games (except Purdy occassionally), but if I could improve them a little in the next week or two so that their market price would go up a little, that'd be great since I am planning on selling all of them by the end of next season. They were all cheap guys I bought last season (22) to upgrade my team when I was absolutely terrible, and they were all the top guys I had at the time for their positions, but now all the people below them are gone and they're at the bottom of the roster now. :/

*I just looked at the list of things to train... what is the difference between "shooting" and "scoring"? Obviously scoring is probably for the skill everyone has called "scoring"... so wtf is "shooting" for?

I now have an outstanding IM on my team. :D

I also had my Norweigen IM who got hurt last night pop because his injury was only a week and I already had 10 doctors. He's now a formidable.

form was not so hot, +3/-6

My 2nd keeper popped to solid.
Form took a hit.
Will begin firing players after we raise the trophy in about 48hrs. Going to can at least 2 players, possibly more. Then I'll either fill the spots before or after the end of season 23.

Zeek: Passing trains everyone who plays winger, mid and forward in a game. Playing a 2-5-3 will let you train 8 players a game. Supposedly it takes 5 weeks for a 17 yo with a solid coach to go up a level.

Scoring does indeed train scoring. :) Shooting trains both scoring and SP. Although supposedly at slower rates. I'm not sure if anyone has exact numbers or not though. There is a member of the KC Fed who trains it, I'll check with her if you're interested. Shooting will train all outfielders who played in scoring and the team, regardless of playing time in SP.

I say go for SP. I believe it is not age dependent.

18yo IM to formidable. Also, I'm not absolutely sure if it was this week or last, but I got another 18yo IM to wretched experience!

Finally got my first formidable. And it wasn't who I was expecting, either. I was thinking it'd be my 20yo. Hopefully it won't be long before I've got an all-formidable inner midfield for both league matches and friendlies.

My 17 yr U-20 Scotland prospect went from solid playmaking to excellent. With this in mind, I expect him to be outstanding by the end of next season and brillent by the time he is 19. :)
