Im not meaning to be some schmuck but I have a question. I've noticed Ashley wore the Predators before the F50s. Does he like the F50s better or does he wear them just because there the newer Adidas shoe and they tell him to wear it.

metropolis, i think he's talking about ashley cole, as opposed to joe cole of chelsea.

Good spot - didn't read the first post carefully enough ;)
And to answer the question, I personally think it would be a bit of both - but ultimately the decision is his. There's tons of players who will still wear predators even though they're not the newest thing. Having said that it's not like the F50's are coming out to replace the preds. I guess Adidas said to all of their players "Here are our new boots, try them, etc. etc." but don't really mind if people stick with preds as they're pretty different.

Plus Ashely Cole is one of the faces of the F50s. But i think as long as he's wearing Adidas then they dont really care.

Adidas signs different contracts with different players. They sign some players (Del Piero, Cole,Trezeguet) to the F50s and use these players in advertisements and they sign some players(Beckham, Zidane, Kaka) to Predators and use them in Ads for Preds.
Same thing with Nike. Henry and Ronaldo use Vapors while Roberto Carlos and Totti use T90 3's.
