Well first of all its 0.3 oz and not 3 oz difference. But anyway, the talarias arent made out of the same synthetic leather as it does not hold up as good or wrap around your foot. The vapors use what the nike empire has invented is nikeskin which is better plastic i guess. So, neither one is of really good quality, but the vapors are better quality than the talarias.

yeah i have the vapors and when you break them in, the nikeskin is great, it wraps around your foot and gives you great touch. My friend had the talarias and they killed his feet and he had bad touch. The only problem i have with vapors is that in the summer, you can feel the studs through the shoe and the hard ground kills your feet.

I own a pair of talarias and they are a great boot. No significant difference compared to the vapors, except for the huge price difference. I had no blister porblems breaking them in and i have had them for some time now. They are comfortable and a good boot.

for the nike vapor or talaria boot, it just depends on your foot. Some people won't get blisters, some people will. The vapors are very similar to the talarias, except that the vapors are better quality.
