I think Romario and Eurico Miranda are trying to hard to "stage" this 1,000th goal super event that is becoming ridiculous.
Eurico is a shame for brazilian football and a symbol of corruption in football in Rio and Brazil. Romario should think twice about making "history" like this and having his name associated with Eurico forever.

yeah the sportv channel will broadcast all romario's games in australia.
<bump>
Must've been hanging out for ratings if that was the case. I was against the old boy's (holiday) but hope he's doing well in his latest challenge. :cool:

2 of them on headers (nice looking too) and one very nice finish. He looks so out of shape. But he still has the finishing touch.

I decided to merge some Romário threads together since the Australian topic was veering off-topic towards Romário quest of scoring 1000 goals.
About yesterday, Romário may not be the player he once was, but he shows great positioning and touch on all three of his goals. I like Romário a lot, but one can't help to think that Volta Redonda's defense may have played soft since the game was out of reach when he entered.

E até na FERJ também, né? :D
