you'll all be so disappointed!
It also seems that NE isn't a safe place for GK's to roam - 3 down!

Aren't quad injuries usually the result of either: a) age, b) lack of fitness, or c) improper warmup?
Why DID we get this guy anyway?

Why DID we get this guy anyway?
What we may be seeing is another crack in the SN armor. Howey's signing seems to reek of a Stapleton-esque cynicisim toward the american game. By SN's reckoning an aging, slow Howey is just so darn positionally aware, because he has all that PL experience, that he can come play in MLS and be effective.
Of course, much like Stapleton, this reasoning will get SN no where. What we've seen is old, slow, and ineffective.
Maybe SN should broaden his horizons and look for talent worldwide.

As a Metro fan I should be enjoying this, but as an MLS fan Nicol has to go...now. Even if it's for that move alone.
Didn't Howey get told by a third division coach in England that he wasn't up to the riggors there and he should take his American opportunity?
That alone should get this guy axed. Third division England tougher than MLS in SN's opinion. WTF!!!!! If he couldn't play there and SN actually thought he would be fit to play here he is not the type of coach needed in MLS.

Somebody in the Midnight Riders should send Sigi a list of all the great restaurants in Boston.

Howey was turned down after a trial with Sheffield United, one of the better clubs a division down from the Premiership.
FWIW, I haven't been impressed with Howey to this point, but it'll be a long time before I wish injury upon one of our own players.
Thing is, we're now with John, Franchino, and John, this while Leonard has been battling a recent injury of late. That's nothing to be happy about.
