Does your security have any problem with banners being brought in stadium? Do I need to call beforehand to clear it?
In DC we either take it in through staff gate or they just make me shake it a bit at gate (not sure how that helps, thing is 30 pounds and rolled up like a persian rug, I could put a bazooka in it :/ )
Thanks

Banners are ok. Flags are ok. Just no poles of any kind. :(
But if you want you can call either the MFO or the NJSEA Nazis ahead of time to let them know what to expect.

np. I been so busy with school I haven;t really had time. SOme people mentioned drammas or something, the little metal o-rings. But me mum said to get those sewed in would be expensive. If you got any ideas or suggestions let me know.
Doesn't it suck to see a DC and Metro supporter not pissing in each others cereal bowl? :D

BBBuldog can come to my house for breakfast any time, I just can't guarantee I won't piss in his cereal.

Go to home depot. Get 2 hammers (if you don't have them already) - a metal one and a rubber (cartoony) one, those can't run you more than 10 bucks for both. Get industrial grommets kit (ask, or find them in tools section), I think my set ran me $10 or so? You get 20 grommets with it, 1/2 inch holes. That's all you need.
Then follow instructions to put them on cloth (my Barra Brava banner in avatar is 2 layers so I had trouble making initial hole with tool they provided, it just gave me outline and then I did rest with skalpel and old nail scissors). I put about 10 holes (4-5 minutes each) in which hold all 30 pounds of banner easily, it looks as professional as if store made it (try out a few first on cloth scraps to get good idea). Then you just run ropes through those.
Pretty sure future banners will be printed on cloth so they'll come with premade holes and won't be that heavy.
I'm not much of internet hooligan :) I'll rather bring my hate for 90 minutes in 2 weeks (well plus tailgate time :D )

Yes!!!! Finally got the banner up last night! It was over the railing behind the goal on our side. Was it visible from your end?

I saw some new ones (noticed big one wasn't there). Did you mean 3 color one that was right to the left side of you? (just going by my pictures) Why I was on your side taking across field pictures I also noticed smaller black one with red face? (seemed same size as my new skull flag)

Yea with me facing you, it was to the bottom left of me. it had the red & black stripes on both sides, and some 3 colored writing in the middle.
Were you the DC dude that come over to 101 taking pictures but then got chased away? :p

I'm not home yet and can only see pictures on camera window, so I'll have to wait a bit to see it in big version.
No that wouldn't be me, I was above and to the right of you. I don't have time for extracullicular activities like that during game ;) This would be me (http://barra-brava.com/gallery/imgenlarge.asp?id=1025) (with scarf) except I had Barra jersey on. NJSEA provided enough fun without going into 101.
And I wouldn't get chased away :p

Do tell? We saw lots of em in your section in the 2nd half. There was one guy from the Barra Brava who had a little too much to drink, and more or less passed out in his seat. Apparently, a couple of medics went to check on him, and for some reason the idiots in yellow decided to storm their way into the section.
Another one of our roadtrippers started taking pictures of the CSC goons, and they got in his face and threatened to throw him out. They were completely unprofessional and there was no reason for them to come into the section.
They left eventually, but came back in force to stand behind us when the game was over. On the way out, I said to one of them "hey, you look good in yellow, that's a nice color for you." He said something like "what the ************ is that supposed to mean?" :)

Actually, he asked if you were wearing a dress Mike. I was right behind you, no idea where the comment came from, I guess CSC goons have a hard time telling the difference between leather jackets + jeans and dresses?

I didn't catch that. He was an a$$hole, and I really pissed him off with the "you look good in yellow" comment.

Some drunk guy fell down so they declared national emergency out of boredom, started telling people to stop druming and disperse etc. They were giving sh1t to a guy that came with Eagles so I walked over and started snapping pics which is a proven way of dispersing security (DC security is warned that anything they do is on camera by us which seemed to work well). I wasn't really snapping pics, since I need space for movies so I was just pretending to. So they started blocking my camera with hands and I said you got problem with me taking pictures, you scared of something? It's not against rules of stadium. Then couple younger ones charged in from my blindside and grabed my camera hand, yelling at me to stop filming and give it to them. I took his hand at the wrist and said if you don't let my camera go I'm gonna rip your face off, it's worth more than 3 months of your pay so he got confused and let go and then we kept yelling in each other's face for 20 seconds or so (which must have sounded funny with my eastern european accent and his joisey accent) during which they got surrounded by Barra. By that time Oscar (Barra boss) came by and told me to stop so I stoped in mid sentece and walked away which made security guy even more confused. I supposed he thought I had time to argue with him for the rest of his shift. :)
It wasn't anything serious really, they were just being PITA. I had to hold back my girlfriend from poking out his eyes after, told you I take her along for protection :p
My condolences for having to put up with them.
