Just a quick FYI, but thanks to the generosity of several people who frequent this board, the Midnight Riders (http://www.midnightriders.com) have met and surpassed their fundraising goal of $1,000 for the 2004 American Heart Walk - Boston. As of Friday, September 17th, the Riders have raised $1,420.00 as part of the New England Revolution Team, which in total has raised $8,720.00 for the American Heart Association, "the largest voluntary health organization working to prevent, treat and defeat heart disease, stroke and other cardiovascular diseases."
Approximate ten Riders will be participating in tomorrow's walk, making the 6.2 mile loop around the Charles River starting at 10:00AM... and likely in the cold, pouring rain. But the cause, and success of the efforts is enough to warm anyone's heart.
If you'd still like to donate, it's not too late to do so, and $1,500 would be a nice, new final goal to achieve. You can got ot he Riders' donor page below and make a last-minute contribution if you so choose:

There are instructions there as to how you can donate on-line, or via check.
So once again, thanks to those who have already made, and will be making the effort.
Cheers,
The Magpie
