My 2 cents is that I think Sochaux got a difficult draw because I think it will be dificult to finish ahead of Newcastle and Sporting of Portugal. However 1st or 2nd place in the group is not out of the relm of possibility for Sochaux.
Auxerre got the easiest group out of the French teams. Rangers now arent as good as they usually are and the Dutch team is not one of the "Big 3" Dutch teams. I can see Auxerre finishing 2nd or possibly edgeing out Rangers for 1st.
I dont know who the favorite of Lille's group is. The German team is not one of Germanys best and Sevilla is playing well in La Liga right now. AEK Athens have had financial trouble and they arent what they used to be. I can see a 2nd or 3rd place finish for Lille.

I'm surprised Lille couldn't get a result. They're near the top of the Ligue 1 standings and they played a 2nd division German team who wasnt playing in their real home stadium. Sochaux is not doing so well in league play and they get an impressive road win in Georgia. Just goes to show you how you perform in league play has nothing to do with how well you do in Europe.
