2004 Barra Activities

2004 has been a banner year for La Barra Brava. Never before have we had as many events/activities/new things than this year. I am developing an extensive write-up and would like to get some comments, memories, impressions, etc. Let me know if I have forgotten something...

Not to mention all the people who have enthusiastically jumped in to offer help. New banners, incredible FREE food, tickets, etc....

It's been a great growing year for the Barra and as one of the oldtimers, I'd like to thank each and everyone of you for making my game day experience an awesome one. On to MLS Cup 04 :)

I guess it all started at the Barra preseason meeting at Oscar's where we met for about two hours and got all the business out of the way in 10 minutes. :D

We lost a few older members like Gene and Rolando who moved away but have come back for games here and there, and picked up some new blood like young Natty and Srdan who jumped in with both feet to present us an awesome new banner. Marco showing his love for the Barra at the MLS Allstar game was a highlight too.

the tailgates with the forest fans were great...never forget the beer olympics we had going

there was also the trip to richmond that some of us made

Jokes aside... After years of talking about it, we have FREE food/donations at the Barra tailgate table.

To me this is what the Barra is all about no BS just friends helping friends! :)

I have had a great time this year just getting to know everybody and making myself known. Everyone has gone above and beyond to make me feel welcome..helping pay for a ticket or buying me a drink at a viewing party but most importantly becoming true friends.

Im glad to be 'one of us' and I wouldnt have it any other way.
