I just wanted to create this thread that, if you lot wanted to discuss what is going on during the matches/afterwards/etc... you can discuss it in here instead of me finding some result in another thread...
just going to tape some matches while at work and would be disappointed to know the results first... anyways, thought i would bring it up~

Predictions Real Madrid 2 - 1 Lever, Lyon 1 - 1 ManUre , Bayern 3 - 1 Tel Aviv, Roma 0 - 0 Kiev, Juve 3 - 2 Ajax. That's it for now I don't remember all the games going on.
ESPN2 is covering the Real/Lever match at 11:45am PST. Not sure which 2 are on ESPN Desportes.

It's a risky one but good picks. Hope you get the big payout. Lever is good enough to beat Real and Ajax v Juve could be a tough one. We'll see.

I don't think Lever is good enough to beat Real, to be honest. Not with Roque "I'm not good enough for Leeds" Jr. as one of their CBs.

Lyon 2-0 Man Utd. half time.
Lyon is absolutly dominating the game. The first goal was a major mistake by Howard but it would have happened eventually anyway. Wiltord get the assist for the second. Djemba-Djemba is is playing absolutly horrible as well. Quote from soccernet at half:
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is going to have to go into hair-dryer mode to get this sorted. And if Djemba-Djemba appears after the break it will be one almighty shock.
Can't say I feel the least bit sorry for them :D
The Liverpool v Monaco match is on soccerstreams.com
Great passing between Alanso, Gerrand and Cisse for the first goal. Pool up 1-0 at Half

No kidding-sounds like Wiltord is giving them fits-i know that he set up the 2nd goal. Good for him.

was Tim Howard truly the EPL goalkeeper of the year?
His positioning is always suspect, i watched him in person in the USA-POland friendly and his bad positioning led to the goal for Poland.

It didn't have anything to do with posistioning he coughed up a free kick that he should have held onto right in front of goal.
Van Nistlerooy has got one back for United 2-1 now.
Bayer is 3-0 up on Real. I havn't seen anything from this match but I would think the scoreline says it all.

United have pulled one back.......
Make that have tied it at 2-2. Ruud appears to be back in his old goal poaching form......

Hmmmmm seems to be 3-0 Lever over Real Overrated.....
I loved what Lever's coach had to say in the pre game...."All the money in the world cant buy you goals, so we have a slight chance...."

The Roma v Kiev match has been abandoned due to referee injury. Just a note on soccernet, I have no idea what happened. Kiev was leading 1-0
Baros scores and Pool now lead 2-0 in the 85th min

First Final Man U 2-2 Lyon
Not the result I would have expected after the way they looked in the first half.
