I signed up for uefa.com's free 7 day trial so I could listen to today's match. The sounds quality was fine, but I am not a fan of Real (the crap they dump on your computer borders on the unethical) so I wanted to cancel my membership.

Guess what? You can't just cancel online. You have to bloody call them on the phone. I had to wait on hold for 15 mins just to talk to a guy to cancel my trial membership. He even gave me a little flack ("But you just signed up today?!").

Uefa.com needs to get a new partner. Only then will I consider paying them fees to listen to soccer matches.

Cheers,
James.

I was havin problems too. I couldn't even get it to work, so I'm cancelling my membership too. Where can I find the info to cancel it?

Open the Real Player, navigate to My Account (under Tools, I think). After you log on you can then BEGIN to cancel the uefa.com trial there, but they'll only give you a phone number so you can wait on hold (and hopefully change your mind about their great service).

Cheers,
James.

I can't even use Real Player at work. But I wouldn't anyways. They imbed all sorts of crap in your computer that you can never get rid of.

Too bad they went with Real or I might be able to listen to the games.

You don't have to phone to cancel.. I cancelled yesterday (within 3 hours of signing up) I just clicked a membership info from the confirmation e-mail they send and then clicked another cancel membership link...seems to have worked for me...

www.soccerstreams.com seems to be the way to go. I watched the PSV game yesterday on it and it was quite good. There were a few freezes but the commentary continues and the freezes don't last for more than a few seconds.

I just wanted to share my experience using the uefa action pass. I signed up last year and thought it was great since i don't have cable and don't mind watching the replays. To my disapointment the real player was unreliable, slow, and difficult to open. I was hearing the replay matches but was seeing "snapshots" every minute or so. My connection here is on dsl so fast, that wasn't the issue. I just figured the problem would solve itself. NO!

So i decided to cancel this membership. Found out i couldn't cancel online and had to call "real player" or whatever they call themselves now. I was put on hold for about 15-20 minutes. This indian customer service rep said it was my computers fault and should restart and reload the player. I told him that was not the issue and to cancel. Then he wanted to try to "sell" me another product and i said no to that.
I was not suprised there are others who feel how i do about there service and about the exact same issues.
To anyone else out there, unless they fix their tech issues or uefa chose another partner, say no to this good intended but overrated and useless product
