Within half an hour, we're already off the track with what this thread was supposed to be.
And I wonder why I'm going grey?
PS - I'm REALLY trying to keep this on topic. Give the Newbies a few days before you scare 'em to death, nice. :p

Dear newbies, if you're wondering why Coach appears to be talking to himself, it's because he just deleted a post by bigsoccer's resident sarcastic prick. :p
Don't hate me nice, it's in your sig after all!
Coach, I swear I didn't post this to crack on nice, I just don't want the newbies to think you're crazy. :D

Just remember fox point, that I seem to be in charge of devising punishments for Arsenal's Kangaroo Court. Am I really a person you want to be messing with? ;)

That's actually something newbies might need to know: Cross the Line, and one of Roman's hired goons will electronically rough you up!

Welcome Newbies! My only advice is if you're going to start a new thread make sure it's something that you think will be worth a discussion for everyone or will last longer than a one response thread. Plus look to see if there is already a thread started about the topic doing a search before you start a duplicate thread that Coach and Rick have to go and combine with another one.
Threads not to start: "I Love Henry's balls", ""Henry I want to Marry you, but I'm not gay" you get the point. Oh and don't start pre-game threads - that's Catfish's job 2-0 to Arsenal ;)
Be intellegent unlike me and start threads about soccer and specifically Arsenal.
But I warn you now there are plenty of Trolls out there who will come in from ManUre and Chavski to leave wise ass comments or just disagree with you because that's what they do.
Have Fun and good Luck!

Huh. I wish Roman paid for torturing Arsenal fans.
Oh well - only Wayne Bridge has that job for the moment.

What's up forum...I'm new to posting but been an Arsenal fan for a while but how I got to be a fan is my question....Around 97 98 I frist started watching the premiere when in America all they showed was ManU and I liked watching Cole and Yorke and became a fan originally of ManU but when they played Arsenal I immediately became a fan of Bergkamp and Kanu i read about the history and about Ian Wright who I just missed seeing played I dropped ManU after reading about their history and have been a Gunner fan ever since....My question is that will you all still accept me even thought I started my frist 4 months as a ManU guy...Oh and the name is a play off of the Dukes of Hazard back in the day and there is also a rapper by the same name....Thank ya now! Like you ever stay on topic for more than 5 mins......
Anyway just to add, welcome to newbies. As an answer to Roscoe P Coldchain, no we won't hate you, but just don't go and say anything nice about them here.....!
If anyone does have any queries, also feel free to PM myself or Coach and we'll try to answer you as well as possible. Just to add to Dave P's comments, please do remember that if you are an Arsenal fan and you go and post stuff in the Chelsea or Man U forum that is insulting to either the club or a player, you could well be considered a troll, which is against the Terms of Service, so please bear in mind you can't act like Phishy ( :D ) in other people's forums!!!

I am not so new, I just don't have much to say.
A couple of questions:
1.What exactly does one have to do to get carded?
2. When someone posts a new thread that has already been run into the ground (Atlanta getting a MLS franchise for example) why do people get so upset, freak out, insult the poster, and try to get the thing shut down? Why not just ignore it?
let the arrows, rocks, verbal jabs, etc. fly,

Thanks, I really don't care for ManU much anymore anyways. Come to find out they along w/ Real Madrid are the New York Yankees of soccer and I don't like that. Thank you for the warm welcome and I hope to be a productive member of the Arsenal family....Thank ya now! Roscoe

You have to make a positive contribution to the site, and if you do on a long term basis making good contributions and showing a decent knowledge of the forum and the regulars and there is a Mod needed on any particular board you can apply to become one.
