Hey everybody! I have been on BigSoccer in ages. Buried with grading papers and lesson planning, but I really am enjoying it. The commute is brutal almost an HOUR and a HALF, 1 WAY!
On to the match, Bolton are improved, but this is Arsenal that The Wanderers are gunning for, not The Isle of Man's Reserve squad. I think our beloved Gunners will get a 3-1 victory. Henry, Reyes (The Spanish Sniper) and Freddie will all score. Lehmann will get bored and in the 2nd half between yawning and cleaning the dirt from his boots, give up an easy one.
Up The Arsenal!
P.S. I miss all of you very much. Be well.

That was last year, big guy....we seem to be 10 times more explosive. Gotta go with my gut reactions, Coach.
I teach 3 classes of Civics and 2 classes of World Geography.

We simply have to win this one! It'll be my first match at Highbury and I would hate it if it's anything but a great result for the Arsenal. If things go wrong you now know where to complain, and I would have to think hard about visting Highbury again. I will however be wearing my lucky shorts, so it should be fine. I'm going for 3-0 to the good guys but any win would suit me just fine. Roll on saturday!

1-1
Sadly, this was the first score that came to mind when I thought about it. Although I've given the manUre boys a world of grief, Bolton ain't half bad, and a draw wouldn't surprise me at all.
(Catfish: World Geography, as opposed to Lunar Geography?? :p And where the hell is Burkino Faso?)

Bolton can score, and we're having trouble defending. This is our test of the season and we'll be coming off of tonight's game and Bolton will be rested. We're going to give up some goals, so maybe 3-2 us for a good result, 3-3 if we're nicked up after PSV.

It's not Les that worries me, it's Jay-Jay. Methinks Cygan will look even more "Frankenstein-esque" if Okocha gets a head of steam built up.

We haven't had an easy match against Bolton in some time.....I don't expect this one to be any different.

Wasn't Les the one that "snuck" the goal past Howard this past weekend?

So shouldn't it be 20-0 then? :p
Bolton needs to be taken pretty seriously. If we come through tonight without any major injuries I'll predict 2-1, otherwise I'm not so sure.

Actually I think the rest of us aren't ready to accept the fact that there probably won't be one game this season where Arsenal are the underdog. You can easily go through the Arse schedule and plausibly figure the Gunners to get points out of all of them, barring any injuries/stupid penalties/Lehmann explosions.
