Completely irrelevant. Case in point: Arkansas was 49th or 50th (hey, where's the auto superscript?) in all major categories during Bill Clinton's tenure. He was elected president twice.

its nice to see Ted Kennedy and John Kerry State at the top, they most be doing something right :)

Actually, since you Dems are so eager to put everything on the man at the top, I guess we can thank Mitt Romney for MA's great educational system. Oops, can't do that, he's a Republican. :)
