I Am Concened About The Bad Call In The Galaxy vs. The Quakes [R]

I'm really shocked that Jimmy Conrad didn't get a red for throwing Cobi Jones onto the SmurfQuakes' bench. Such a violent outburst deserves a red card.

Then the ref totally blew a call in which he awarded the Quakes a goal kick instead of a corner kick off a deflection off Joe Cannon. That call totally changed the game.

Then, at the end of the game, Agoos and the entire coaching staff of the Quakes should have been red-carded for charging the linesman and the ref.

On a lighter note, it certainly was fun to watch Carlos Ruiz, the hottest player in MLS, score the winning goal for the Los Angeles Galaxy, the hottest team in MLS. It was also fun to watch the Fish fry Agoos for the 352nd time.

Carlos Ruiz is so awesome, but so is Taylor Twellman, golly, I wish he played for he Galaxy too. And then there's Landin'..... Whatever happened to Ldo? Oh yea, he's served as a handy on-field cone to conveniently let his team mates know where the exact middle of the field is located. When he's not doing interviews for TigerBeat. Or when he's not feeling well cause he's passing Tristins' blood.

Anyway, I'm starting to feel sorry for you poor, poor, circus freaks, almost as bad as I feel for the luckless white-trash infested Fire, so maybe the Galaxy will take pity on you and give you a tie next week. Better yet, ask Mike on-his-knees-groves to root for the Galaxy, that's bound to help.

First team to win three in a row....

Doug, while I understand, and giggle at, the promises and vows to break the legs of Carlos Ruiz, I think I should point out that Agoos was hit by Ruiz' shot, not by Ruiz' foot. Unless I badly misinterpreted the Rose Bowl replay.

This is for the Quakes Team Forum, which I'm choosing to enjoy from a distance. Nothing I can post would be as wonderful as what you all have provided without my help.

Agoos gave applause, however sarcastic, to the Riot Squad after the game. So I'm back to respecting him. I'll still join in the "Who scored the own goal?" chants, of course, but it's nothing personal.
