What if? 2000 Redux.

A serious question, though it requires only speculation.

What would happen if there was a repeat of 2000 with, say, Ohio or Pennsylvania taking over the Florida role and the Supreme Court again declaring Bush the winner?

If that happened again, I think Bush would be in danger of being assassinated by an angry citizen. I don't say this in a joking manner at all, and I hope this never happens, as that kind of turmoil would weaken our defenses enough for another terrorist attack and probably result in some level of martial law.
