Gomez "Is doing a fantastic job" Nowak said. "He's talking to the guy's and asking when he doesn't know the tactical stuff." "He's the first one at practice and he leaves last, and he wants to know more and more. I think the understanding between him and Jaime and the other guys is pretty good now."
I'm ready to see it with my own two eyes......

I guess that I misssed something at the 8/31 practice that I attended. Gomez did nothing fantastic and he was not even in the group of players that were the last ones working on passing drills (if I recall, it was guys like Stewart, Carroll, Prideaux, etc.) before the practice concluded.

"It's been a long stretch since the last win, but we had three away games and got two ties [in addition to a home tie with New England], so it's not the end of the world," midfielder Ben Olsen said. "Now we have our home stretch. It's just important we do the job here at home like we've done for the most part this year."
I hope DC United takes care of business today.

"Technical director Dave Kasper said there's a possibility the team will sign one more player before the end of the regular season, but declined to be more specific."
Who is left? An A-Leaguer who will be out of the playoffs soon or Yi if by a miracle United were to win a lottery.

GR Cannon anybody?
This is another reason I really hope the reserve teams come about.

Lawson seems to be complete dead weight, what a mistake picking him up seems to have been

Oh stop... we're not allowed to question that move remember?
Although I hear there is a cadaver we are looking to sign that played in a rec-league NEAR Dusseldorf last season.
He is destined to fill a "part" time role with this team :D
(Ah sometimes I just crack myself up.... :D)

Shouldn't Nelsen be listed as playing for the other team? I'm confused.
