For those of us too stupid to realize that the time on our season tickets is 7:30pm, yet all signs such as a BB thread on what time the keg is kicked, the "official" game thread, and the DC United website, point to the game starting at 4pm, I just wanted to put a thread up that reiterates this helpful little factiod.
No need for anyone to reply to the thread. In fact, a mod could lock it so I don't take any unnecessary abuse regarding my cognitive skills. Just wanted to make sure I can help point out the obvious. :)
Thx,
Jay!

4:00 games suck. It forces me to choose between my rec game and DCU. Play in my season opener or watch a team that has won once in its last nine games. Hmmm, I wonder how that will turn out...

I enjoyed watching my alma matter do that last week. :) (except it was in Provo and not South Bend)

If you can find a radio that gets VHF TV signals (which some do, just the sound), it's on Ch. 4 and you can listen to it.

But you should still be able to watch the last quarter or so. Sure all the bloodshed would have already occured.

Oh how I wished I had seen this post which was an honorable attempt to save me from myself. Alas, as I was getting ready to bring my kids down to the game Saturday, i was flipping through to see what college f'ball games were on when I see United playing - it was one of the sickest feelings I've ever had. On a gorgeous day with a shutout win.

Would have happened to me too if K hadn't sent out an email to the SE's with day game events and such.
Sorry you missed it JRHokie. :(

I came VERY close to missing the game, but luckily found out at about 1 pm that the game was a 4 pm start. I never bother reading the stickied info unless I'm looking for TV broadcast info.
Cheers,

I live roughly five minutes from Notre Dame. I was wondering if you enjoyed Michigan bitch slapping the Irish on Saturday.
p.s.-I don't care about Notre Dame or football. I just thought it was funny seeing this quote two days after Michigan lost.
