I'd like to ask the fans of peuvian soccer---is Cienciano now "consecrated" as the best peruvian club team ever? First winning Copa Sudmaericana and this week La Recopa---and against River and Boca respectively!!! I dont know enough about peruvian club soccer history to make an educated judgment on this question---but i can say with a certain degree of confidence that they are probably the best peruvian club team in the last 5 or 6 years or so with the results that theyve gotten. In my mind Cristal would probably be a close second.

interesting question
considering that they havnt had a run in la libertadores like universitario and cristal did in 1972 and 1997
and that alianza has been better than them on the domestic front for the past 2 years
its hard to say
gotta remember they havnt been peruvian champs yet

The best team in peruvian history is Alianza Lima :D we have made more contributions to the national squad and the best players ever have come from Alianza. Cianciano is just starting and they have done great things but I wouldn't call them the best team ever.

i dont think a club that goes 17 years without a championship can be called the greatest ever

well am biased towards Alianza Atletico de Sullana. everytime we get good, our players are bought by the big teams in peru.

"U" 72, Cristal 97>>>>>>>>>>Cienciano
Cienciano never had a player as good Trucha, Solano, and Chorri. They just had homefield advantage. After la "U" lost to Independiente Trucha went straight to Independiente were he won a Copa Libertadores. WTF are Cienciano's players now? Isn't Copa Sudamerica a cup they don't care about?

U-72, there's no doubt about it!!!
Cuz we're the 1st Pacific's club to get into a final CL. And playin with our B-team. Sino, hubieramos campeonado :p
And 67 Cl, also we must get into a final too, but the Argies eliminated us on Semis' with a parcializado refferi que dejó q lesionaran a 2 delanteros nuestros en el partido decisivo, ante Racing :(
