Fan Zone is a match that is commentated by one supporter from each team. Both guys rag on each other, cheer and yell. It's like having your friends over to watch the game with the play by play turned off.
They also scroll text and email messages from others.
The show is an available option in England by Sky Sports.

Today's game is the wild Portsmouth v. Fulham game from last week. Could be interesting to re-watch.

It's actually sort of fun to watch, for about ten minutes. After that, it gets old.

It really makes you appreciate professional commentators. How many times today did the Fulham supporter say "That's what I'm talking about!"
:)
Actually, the best part of Fan Zone is the intro where they show the two guys in the booth. One is jumping up and down like mad for a goal while the other is hanging his head.

--Imagine if someone hooked BigSoccer up to one of those text-to-speech processors. Bam, you've got Fan Zone.

I think that they're funny as hell. "Do you rate Boa Moh-ay, mate?" "Pompey su-poh-tiz, best in Britain, mate". "Where is the commitment?" "Cookie Coleman's Fulham Ahh-MEEE". "Respect to Fulham, mate".
I couldn't get enough.

Fan Zone matches are from Sky Sports in the UK, i.e. they are UK fans.

Fanzone is great. If they gave me a choice between the professional commentators and these guys, I'd take these guys every time. They make things much more interesting, though a couple of the recent ones have been more calm and quiet than usual.

I got that as well. Every ten minutes or so they might say something funny but for every funny comment, I get 50 "Come On Fulham!" or "get stuck in!". It got a bit old.

I don't think you would be making that choice for long.....it gets old after a while. But certainly fun for a change of pace. I wish we had the same capabilities as they do in the UK with Sky. You can switch back and forth during a game whenever you want.

Fan zone is funny sometimes.
There is usually is good banter, but invaribaly not enough for me....
