Are there any Rapids fans in Ft. Collins that want to try and watch away games at a bar? If so, any recommendations on a good bar to watch?

I live in Wellington, but I am a homeowner, which means there is always something to do at home, so I usually catch games where I can at home with my satellite dish. I used to live in town, though.

Being that it is college football season and that many Rapids games will be on Altitude, your barwatching possibilities in Fort Fun are seriously limited. When there used to be Thursday night or Sunday night or Saturday afternoon (in midsummer) games, Sullivans on West Elizabeth used to be fairly accomidating. Most establishments just will have no idea a game will even be on., however. At Sullies, they were surprised, but interested, when I popped in for the European Champions Final.

Tres Margaritas is soccer friendly... Also, the new Mexican restaurant in Old Town, I believe it's called Pueblo Viejo (get it? Old Town?) The manager there is soccer friendly, the trick would be to get KSE to show away games... Sullivan's is an option, but they let me down once, and I only give establishments one crack at displaying competence... I'd stick to the Mexican joints, the staff at Tres Margaritas was fantastic even though I showed up in full USA gear for a US-Mexico friendly, I think the fact that a white boy is soccer mad gives them a sense of hope...

I would be willing to watch Rapids games and the US qualifiers somewhere in Fort Collins.
