... and being considered a lurker. Here goes nuttin'.
Why be a ________ fan in US?
Why spend Sat or Sun mornings (or ditch work @ noon during week) at a bar where all the staff has an accent, having bangers or scones and drinking beer?
Why obsess over whether 1 or 2 central defenders is necessary this week?
What makes me think I'll ever fly 7-10 hours and pay outrageous sums in a currency I don't comprehend to be a spectator for 2 hours?
BECAUSE THE WIFE DOESN'T GET IT AND WOULDN'T DREAM OF JOINING ME!!

Just family connections. I don't know if I'm diehard enough call myself a 'fan' - more of a follower, they're my favourite team in the Premiership. I must confess that I prefer to support my local team when possible.
As soon as our new league starts in Australia, both those teams in my profile are going to be replaced by Newcastle United FC.

Though im glad that not all spurs fans are still here, maybe you can get the rest to leave here as well....... ;)
Just make sure you put Newcastle FC Australia or people will think your a Geordie!! (and thats almost worse than being a Spurs fan!!) ;)
