Does anyone know what's up w/ Alberto Delgado. For the matchup on the Rapids site for this weeks game he is not listed as a started, sub or as injured. Is he still on the team? :confused:

That's pretty funny! You're right. But this is not one of those "firing horror stories" where the guy finds out he was fired when he doesn't see his name on the new roster... DOH!

More likely, and unfortunately, coloradorapids.com has an atrocious track record when it comes to listing injured playes, likely starters, international callups, and subs. Actually, inconsistency is their greatest consistency for Match Day lineup information.

In this case, chalk it up to an error (I would bet). Of course, Zach Kingsley was released and was still listed as injured for a couple of weeks thereafter...

Funny but true story: my staff found out I was leaving the firm when our company reorganized and the VP forgot to add me back onto the new Org Chart being displayed on the overhead. They all sort of turn around in their seats with this "looking at a bloody accident" expression. Yup... so much for keeping it quiet as the Board requested.

Any-hooo, I think (me, think?) this sub-board is centered around discussion of the Colorado Rapids Supporters Clubs. Well, if we had any. I'd put future posts in the main Rapids board.

Funny, he is still on the roster page...but yet not on the Last Rapids starting lineup graphic!

Home teams are allowed 9 subs and away teams 5 subs (to sit on the bench). Sometimes injuries show up late on these reports. Is is possible he didn't make the bench?

Have no fear, he is listed as one of the un-used subs from Friday's game.

Substitutes Not Used: Alberto Delgado, Joey DiGiamarino, Michael Erush, Rey Angel Martinez, Gary Sullivan, Scott Vallow.
