Gyeongju Province - South East of Korea where the ancient kingdom of Silla was established. People there were super nice albeit were of the redneck persuasion. We got lost and this old man offered to drive us around town, sight-seeing. We wanted to buy him dinner afterwards, but he refused and told us our good company was enough for him.

Megabox cineplex. Saw Superstar Mr. Gam and what a wonderful movie it was. I'd put it along with Oldboy, Taegukgi, A Tale of Two Sisters, Christmas in August, Failan, Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, and Memories of Murder as one of the best Korean movies.
