That's right, folks. The SECOND thread of the Corner Kick Goal Poal reached 300 posts. That's the server friendly, let's cut down on busy signals, admin imposed, occasionally enforced limit on thread length. So here's part three. What do you think? I bet we make it at least to part six before we finally score a goal off a corner kick. Oh, well ...

For you newcomers ...

:: All The Rules ... Again (They might even be up to date.) ::

• All entries must be unique.

• The poster whose prediction is closest to the actual number of corners until the drought ends – without going over - wins.

• Deadline for entry is kickoff on Saturday against the MetroStars. (See the Eismahn-better-late-than-never clause for clarification.)

• The prize: Self satisfaction! There’s no better prize than that! (And maybe we'll throw in some rep too.)

• The Eismahn-better-late-than-never clause :: We never did specify which Saturday kickoff against the MetroStars. So it's not too late if you haven't made your pick. So make your claim and try your luck.

• The Eismahn-consecutive-corner-kick clause :: You can pick two or more consecutive kicks but you only win if all of those kicks result in goals.

• The BudWiser-typo-correction clause :: If you made a typo you can correct it. But you've gotta convince me that it really was a typo. Bribery works too.

• The fatbastard-tough-luck clause :: DELETED. See below.

• The Eismahn amendment to the The fatbastard-tough-luck clause :: The The fatbastard-tough-luck clause is now null and void. Anyone who's been eliminated can choose another number amongst those not already taken.

• The Knave-Just-Like-MLS-We-Make-It-Up-As-We-Go clause :: As long as there's appropriate discussion first, the rules are subject to change, deletion or amendment at any time to fit the convenience of those participating in this pool.
