Say Rain - di you happen to catch any Champs league games last season.

't'was great stuff..:D:D

nope i didnt :/ we dont get much footie here, once in a while theres a game on fox sports net but most of the time its pay per view only, and rickbreeze is right, they only show the F.A. cup games...

i think if i got satellite tv instead of digital cable which i have now, i'd get a lot more games, but then thats more expensive too. i'll wait and see how big a fan i become-if i'm rabid about it by next year maybe i'll spring for satellite tv-for now its internet radio and occasionally pay per view :)

Well, that statement was a direct dig at Rick and his Arsenal team - it's a rivalries thing.I won't go into the details as i'm sure they're still quite painful for the Arsenal people.

Many of them bought tickets for Germany after a game in South West London - but for some reason they never used them :D:D

I live in the states these days and have found that the only way to follow footie over here is to have Satellite, that is if you want to follow European football.
If you have FSN, you should have FSW available no?
There are up to a half dozen games on per week - all free and most of them live.

Thanks for the reminder, luckily I go the tax back on the flight so only lost £30...., but even so.

But Clan's right there are a lot of rivalries in the clubs in the UK. A small suggestion, don't post anything too controversial in the Chelsea forum, they're not as laid back as me in the Arsenal section...........

nope, i dont get fox sports world :( our cable company has all sorts of different tiers, im on the silver package which gives me 6 channels of hbo, a bunch of encore movie channels, and three sports channels-espn, espn 2, and fox sports net (which is what all my hockey games are on). i think if i move up to the gold tier i'd get fox sports world, but its more expensive so it's something i need to think about. i just requested my internet company to upgrade my DSL from 1.5 Mbps to 3 Mbps so thats going to be another ten bucks a month...

anyways i only started getting into footie halfway through last season..i'll see how this season goes and if by winter i'm totally mad about it, i'll probly get the gold package so i can get FSW...

rickbreese-noted, i wont post anything controversial in the chelsea forum..tho the last thing i'm here to do is get in flame wars, i just want to kick back and talk to other footie fans and learn more about the game
