if you're talking full programs, I think Pro Tools takes it hands down. It's market supprt and flexibility are bar none. I've used Nuendo, but Pro Tools HD at 96k is pretty unbeatable.

Well I use pro tools LE 5.2.1 on a mac g3 powerbook. I use the MBOX to get the sound in. The main reason i chose pro tools is because it seemed to be the most simple to use. It only takes about an hour to get the hang of it then you're recording, sequencing, cutting and pasting and throwing down effects the same day you buy it.
I used this one program made by Magix because it was dirt cheap....but I never actually used it because it was so complicated that I ended up turning the computer off everytime I tried to mess around.
The only thing about pro tools I don't like, and maybe on the newer versions of pro tools they have added this.....but I don't like how it only came with like 7 effects. If you spend $400 for a setup it should come with tons of effects. I had to buy the rest.
Today I am going to attempt to convert reason 2.0 rewire into Pro tools direct connect using 3rd party software that somehow meges the two technologies. ANyone have any luck doing this?

I use Pro Tools Le and Cakewalk (the hardware i use is a DIgidesign 002 rack) cakewalk is much easier, but pro tools is the better program.
