i live in a house that is all networked. However there's a lack of music in the living room because nobody has a stereo out there. Our plan is to have some speakers put in the living room, and wired up to one of the computers. Is there any program out there that will allow people from other computers ( i.e. my computer upstiars) to play music from their playlist onto the speakers downstairs int he living room through the wired up computer.

The computer that is planning to be wired has 2 sound cards so he can listen to his own stuff while music is playing in the living room.

iTunes (http://www.apple.com/itunes/share.html)

You can either access the playlist in the upstairs computer using the Share Playlists function, or do what I did and drop $125 on Airport Express (http://www.apple.com/airportexpress/airtunes.html) and hook speakers up to it.

It's pretty easy either way.
