Theres alot of really good, young French talent and some of the youthful strikers could eventually resemble Thierry Henry in prolific goalscoring.

Cisse comes to mind as a potential great.

Anyone else have someone in mind?

Cisse is already a great striker. One person i see to the next big thing is Ben Arfa, i saw him play and his amazing. In the game against metz he managed to get past 3 defenders and then set up balmont's goal. His got speed and talent he just needs a few years to grow up. Although he is a striker, he plays more like a playmaker, like an attacking midfielder in away.

Aliadiere doesn't seem that good even though Wenger seems to like him.
and I don't think ben arfa is strong enough yet to get into the box and score etc if you know what i mean.

How high do you guys rate Liverpool's Florent Sinama Pongolle (hope I wrote right).

I remember him and Letellec from the U-17 WC a couple of years ago and they were terrific.

I'll second Ben Arfa, and he's only 17 by the way.

Aliadiere has been one of the most unlucky guys I have ever seen with all of his injuries. On the occasions when he has had a runout he seems to have the talent and desire (I think these are the things Wenger sees) but he has just been so unlucky. Hopefully his luck will turn around as he gets a little older.

what does everybody think of Anelka? Will he ever play for Les Bleus?

Djibril Cisse is already a great striker. Saha is also a very good striker. Therz also new strikers like Frau or Luyindula that are pretty good

My personnal favorite is Luyindula. Very classy player. Fast, good dribbler too. Very hard to take the ball from him.

I can't wait to see a Saha-Luyindula attack for France.

For the moment, Luyindula is not very on top form with OM  . And domenech doesn't select him for match against Ireland.

Cisse is already big in the scoring charts in France but now needs to help Liverpool in the premiership.Another fresh young talent is Jeremie Aliadiere the young French forward currently with Arsenal. He is currently sidelined with an injury, but did graduate from Clairefontaine Acadamy and is a star to watch.

luyindula is a big "?"
he seemed to be very accurate in lyon ( 17 goals in l1 with govou, elber ..)
but in marseille, he does..nothing at all.
even marlet seems to be stronger!
