What worries me for tomorrow's match is that Monaco score goalS and OM don't.
I'd actually be content with a 0-0 draw. At least if OM aren't going to score goals, let's have them not concede them either.
Wasn't there talk in the summer of getting Tevez or someone from Argentina? Can't they afford him now. I am actually a little dissapointed we didn't get Wiltord.
Its Saviola that worries me... he can run circles around any defense. I'd be content with a 0-0 as well, but beating Monaco would send a good message... plus increase the gap between us and les parisiens :)

If I remember correctly OM was not one of the finalists to get Wiltord. They weren't even mentioned as a potential place he would end up. The only French teams mentioned were OL and ASM. How OL were able to land Wiltord you have to give credit to their president who went after him hard. As for Tevez of all the teams mentioned to potentially land him I havent heard one French team mentioned.
you know
the only oportunity for french club to sign good players is to play in champions league.(since the fiscality is far too high for high salaries...)
only Monaco can afford good players cause they don't pay taxes on salaries...(pretty unfair considering that they play in the same league than us and don't have to pay the same taxes..)
and OL are atractive to because they won the L1 three times and are present in champions league this seasonn...

I think Anelka could end up going to OM in Janurary.

i don't really think so...
i saw an interview where he said that if he went back to france it would be in monaco so he could walk in the street without being disturbed by the crowd...

They need a player like him and they will push hard for him regardless of what he says. Players say things and change their mind all the time. I really believe Anelka would love to play for OM what French player wouldn't !?

if Anelka joined l'OM, he won't do something better than Luyindula.

I think Fernando Morientes is a better choice !!
What do you think about that ?

He is a better choice but you have no chance of getting him. Morientes has said Monaco is his first choice because he so enjoyed his time there and he loves the manager. We also know that teams like Liverpool and Juventus are also after him. OM has to be realistic and Morientes is not a realistic choice for them but Anelka definately is at this point. Point is that there's a host of teams lined up who want Morientes and there's not a whole host of teams lined up who want Anelka so thats why OM has a much better chance of getting him.

Do you know what else is bad with the attack... Corner kicks! They are horrible, by everyone. Out of, I think 6 or 7 ck today, only one was good.. towards the end of the match by Pedretti i think it was.
Although, I will credit today's attacking was much better by OM and I feel they were a bit unlucky not to convert the 3 good shots on goal they had. I hope the tie didn't break that momentum and they can carry it for the PSG match.

Pedretti looked solid. Koke though had a great game. After scoring the first goal, you could see his confidence go up and he played way better than anything I've ever seen in the past. OM are slowly getting better. For the first time this season they've shown their true potential as a team.

Quick question: Do you think OM is UNDERachieving or OVERachieving this season???
Just curious.

Its pretty obvious they're underachieving. They should be in the top 3 not behind Lille and Auxerre in the standings.

I would say both. Strange but true.
Have the ability to do well, but always come up short. They have no striker and its apparent. They have solved the defensive worries by bringing Dehu, Lizarazu etc, but they have neglected a CF, that and a playmaker.
They could do still do well though and if they gon on a run, who knows.....

I thought Pedretti was supposed to be your playmaker. I thought Luyindula was supposed to score a lot of goals.

Well Pedretti has been injured and Luyindula has been crap.
