ZoltaR, was it true that Martin Cardetti had a trial up at Marseille?

Also why let Runje leave? I know Barthez took his place, but didn't you guys really like him as a no1?

I always used to prefer him as a keeper..... :)

! Marseilles cosmopolitan city !

The regenerated, cosmopolitan port of Marseille boasts the only French club to truly hold a city in its grip : Olympique de Marseille, known by all as simply l'OM. Founded by Phocaean Greeks in 600BC and thus the oldest city in France. Marseille's position at the mouth of the Rhone and overlooking the Mediterranean saw it welcome Italian, Spanish, Armenian, North and West African communities.

It is a real melting pot, as personified by it flagship club and tens of thousands of supporters, dying for a repeat of the glory days ten years ago when they dominated the French championship and became the only French club to win the European Champions League. Loyal through hard times thereafter, if any set of fans deserve the highest level of success, it is Marseille's.

ED NOTE: Sorry boys, no nudity around these parts.

Fiorese, the last recruit of the mercato speaks about his former club and coach vahid:

Ambiance…

fabrice fiorese i still in anger with the parisian club he has just left. Interviewed about the circumstences of his departues he says some words thath vahid Halilhodzic will surely appreciate:
"The parisian team needs to be trusted, supported. They don't need to be hit from behind" says the former psg player and he adds: "At l'OM, i feel like in a family, i hadn't feeled that way for a long time. ifeel like i had been released from jail."

the om team is back in marseile after a "trip" in marocco for a friendly match .

The goalkeeper pegguy Arphexad trained with l'om team tuesday at the commanderie. Born in Guadeloupe (antilla) the keeper started his career in Lens then in Leicester, Liverpool and coventry.
he's now 30 years old and have no club. He is in marseille to become the third goalkeeper after the departure of Carasso to Guingamp.
José ANigo ( l'om coach) was pleased to welcome a player "who knows why he is here and wont disturb the inprovment made by Gavanon and M'Bolhi".

That guy is seriously going to burn in hell, when he arrives back in Paris. At least Dehu had the courtsey to keep his mouth shut and respect his decision to switch clubs. Fabrice is nothing but a money grabber. Are those the players you want at Marseille? Come on, there must be some good talent in the youth setup?

Sochaux are very good at home, but have lost key players in the summer (Pedretti, PA Frau...)

But L'OM are usually poor when travelling to Montbéliard. I think it will be a draw....

1-1...... ;)

P.S - hope fab breaks his leg.......lol.......:D
