L'actuel président de Marseille, Christophe Bouchet, dont le départ effectif est prévu pour janvier, est «déjà parti», a estimé lundi l'actionnaire principal de l'OM, Robert Louis-Dreyfus, précisant également qu'il ne «participera pas au choix de son successeur», lors d'un entretien accordé au quotidien L'Equipe.




«Il y a deux ou trois dossiers à boucler, a affirmé Louis-Dreyfus. Comme celui des droits TV. Christophe Bouchet fait partie du conseil d'administration de la Ligue et il est important que l'OM fasse entendre sa voix dans ce dossier» Par ailleurs, RLD a également jugé «globalement positif» le bilan de Bouchet depuis son arrivée en 2002. «Il a pérennisé, sur le plan financier, le club qui était mal en point.»

Louis-Dreyfus a également confirmé que le futur président serait connu à l'issue d'un audit réalisé par l'entraîneur et ancien boxeur Louis Acariès, «un ami proche, connu depuis 10 ans. Il s'agit d'un audit général, à l'exception de la situation financière, qui est très saine. Et, début janvier, on choisira le nouveau président sur la base des recommandations de Louis Acariès.» En attendant, l'intérim est effectué par le tandem Philippe Meurice-Vivian Corzani.

Le grand patron de l'OM a en outre signalé que le nouvel entraîneur, Philippe Troussier, avait été choisi par le manager sportif, Pape Diouf. «Avec lui, on avait établi une liste de quatre personnes (Bianchi, Völler, Metsu et Troussier). J'ai validé cette liste et Pape Diouf a choisi Troussier. Il a un contrat d'objectif jusqu'à la fin de la saison. Avec un salaire raisonnable, qui sera doublé si l'OM se qualifie pour la Ligue des champions».

RLD a également tenu à souligner le travail effectué par José Anigo pendant près d'un an passé à la tête de l'OM : «Il avait pris l'équipe dans une situation difficile avec beaucoup de courage et de compétence.» Qualifiant le bilan d'Anigo d'«excellent jusqu'à la fin de la saison dernière», il s'est aussi félicité que l'ancien technicien de l'OM reste au club avec ses qualités de formateur.

Même s'il a «faim de titres», Robert Louis-Dreyfus, qui a déjà investi «150 millions d'euros», a en revanche signalé qu'il n'entendait pas remettre de l'argent dans le club, à l'image de ces trois dernières années. «Ce n'est pas nécessaire».

Sur le parcours actuel de l'OM, Louis-Dreyfus s'est déclaré «triste, un peu comme les supporters. Si vous prenez les joueurs un par un, il y a beaucoup de qualités. Mais on s'est peut-être trompé sur la complémentarité. (...) Il n'est pas normal que Sochaux et Auxerre soient devant nous. Sur le papier, seul Lyon a un effectif supérieur au nôtre.»

The OM boss also said that the new coach : Philippe Troussier was chosen by the sportive manager : pape Diouf. "With him(diiouf) we established a 4 personns list (Bianchi, Völler, Metsu, and Troussier). I have validated this list and Pape Diouf chose Troussier. We have an objectiv contract to the end of the season. With an afordable salary wich would be doubled if l'OM qualifies for the champions'league."

RLD also wanted to underline the work acomplished by José ANigo during is year at the head of the team: " He had taken the lead in a difficult situation with a lot of bravour and efficence." Rld Qualified the work of anigo as "excelent until the end of the past season", he also said he was satisfied to see him stay in the club despite his resign as a kids coach.

Even if h's hangryfor titles, RLD who has already invested 150 Millions of €, as also added that he didn't want to spend one more € for the club. Just as he has done for the three last years " it's not necessary".

about the om actual level, RLD said he was " sad like the supporters. If you consider each player, there's a lot of quality. But we must have missed something with complementarity. quelle est votre réaction à la mission confiée à Acariès ?
Je veux dire une chose. La venue de Louis Acariès à L’Olympique de Marseille pour faire l’audit dont a parlé l’actionnaire principal, je l’ai apprise incidemment en lisant la presse et en parcourant les dépêches d’agence. C’est vrai qu’en écoutant la télévision, on a entendu aussi l’actionnaire, je pense me renouveler sa confiance, je pense de manière pleine.


Il et toujours évident que j’aurais préféré que ce renouvellement de confiance fut fait en direct. Mais je peux concevoir qu’il n’est peut-être pas toujours facile de me joindre. En l’occurrence il a préféré le faire de manière publique. Je l’en remercie. Quant à mon opinion sur la venue d’Acariès, en fait je n’en ai pas. Je n’ai pas pour habitude de faire dans le préjugé ou dans l’à priori. Il souhaite me rencontrer sur les instructions de l’actionnaire, je suis ouvert même si c’est vrai qu’aujourd’hui j’ai un calendrier qui déborde. Mais pour le bien de l’OM, je suis en situation de répondre à toutes les demandes, dès lors qu’elles me paraissent dans le sens de ce que je recherche, c’est à dire le retour vers la sérénité et le retour vers la possibilité de construire les objectifs que nous nous sommes fixés. Voilà je n’ai pas de commentaire particulier à faire sur ce point.

Mais visiblement vous semblez surpris ?
(Moue) Surpris non. Ce qui fait tout le charme de RLD, c’est aussi cette manière assez particulière qu’il a d’agir, c’est quelque chose d’amusant aussi.

Amusant de l’intérieur aussi ?
Lorsque vous êtes en relations avec les gens, il faut savoir faire la part des choses et moi j’ai pour habitude aussi de prendre les gens aussi en fonction de leur caractère. J’ai pour habitude de faire en fonction des gens et de leurs caractéristiques. C’est vrai aussi, et je dois le préciser, M. Dreyfus que j’ai rencontré en début de semaine, avait été très clair à mon intention. Nous avions discuté de projets présents et à moyen terme et il a été, pour moi en tout cas, rassurant. Il m’avait assuré de son soutien et de ses encouragements. Aujourd’hui c’est vrai que nous vivons une période de transition qui n’est pas douce. Mais non, je ne crois pas être surpris. En vérité, je dirais simplement que c’est un peu la personne de Dreyfus qui est comme ça. On lui reproche souvent de ne pas parler, alors pour une fois qu’il a parlé, il faut retenir ça d’abord.

Vous êtes toujours accroché à l’OM ?
Ca fait plus de 30 ans que je suis à Marseille et mon attachement à ce club ne s’est jamais démenti même si à un moment j’ai du prendre la distance que requérait le devoir professionnel que j‘avais de rendre compte des activités de la vie du club. Il y a une distance évidement que j’ai du tenir vis-à-vis du club et su tenir, même si, l’attachement sentimental ne s’est jamais démenti. Aujourd’hui, qui plus est avec ces responsabilités là qui sont les miennes, ce n’est pas une sinécure, croyez moi, oui j’ai d’avantage encore envie d’y aller. J’ai d’avantage et même furieusement envie de réussir ce que je fais étant entendu que ma devise est d’abord la réussite. Ma passion N°1, hormis évidement les miens, c’est la réussite. Alors là aussi je suis venu pour réussir ce que je fais.

Quel que soit le Président qui est désigné vous ne raccrocherez pas les gans ?
Je n’ai pas dis ça. Il est évident que j’ai une personnalité. Il y a des choses qui peuvent me convenir et d’autres moins et ça je pense que ce n’est pas déflorer un secret que de le dire. M. Dreyfus sait parfaitement que, le discours que je lui avais tenu tenait compte aussi de la personnalité du nouvel arrivant et que chez moi les principes l’emporteront toujours sur le besoin de paraître ou simplement le besoin de dire je suis là. Je ne mets pas un mouchoir sur les principes et je sais que l’application d’un principe a toujours une contre partie. En l’occurrence j’attends que soit dévoilé le nom de ce futur Président et à ce moment là, j’aviserai.

Si c’est Acariès ?
Tout me laisse croire aujourd’hui que le nom de ce nouveau Président n’est pas encore retenu définitivement. Acariès a un rôle bien défini par l’actionnaire principal, c’est un rôle d’audit, dont il ne faut mettre la charrue avant les bœufs. Il faut attendre et voir. Certains d’entre vous m’on donné la stature d’un présidentiable. C’est plutôt joli, mais bon nous n’en sommes pas encore là.

It's obvious that i'd have prefered that this trust confirmation had been told directly to me. But i can imagine that it's not always easy to contact me. This time , he prefered to speak to the press, in a public way, i thank him for that. If you want my opinion about the coming of acariès, in fact i don't have one. i'm not used to prejudice. Acariès wants to meet me acording to RLD, i'm open to that even if i'm over booked in these days. But for l'OM, i'm ready to answear all his requests (if they fit with my goal: a come back to serenity and the will to concrete our objectives). That's all i have to say about this point.

You seem to be rather surprised either?
Surprised , not. It's all about RLD's "charme", the way he takes decisions, it's kinda funny attitude.

It's also funny in a professional point of view?
when you are in contact with people, you've got to consider their behaving, and addapt to them, that's what i usualy do. It's also true that Mr RLD who i had met last week, has always been totaly clear about my situation. We had talk about the present and futur projects and he had been confident. He guarantied me with his full trust. Today we are in a quick changing situation, but no, i'm not surprised. In fact i would say it's RLD who is like that. People often say he doesn't talk enough, this time he talked, that's we've got to notice.

Are you still linked to l'OM?
i've been living in Marseille fo r more than 30 years and my atachement to this club cannot be denied. Even if i had to keep a distance with the club in order to do my job. I had to keep this distance even if my love for this club has always been true.
In these days, believe me , it's not quite easy. But i still have more will to succeed with marseille. in fact my #1 hobbie is to succeed ( excepting my familiy obviously). So i came here to succeed in what i do.

You won't resign, whoever is intronized president?
I didn't say that.
I have a personality, and some things just wouldn't fit with it. Rld know that the personality of the new president will be very important for me. i wait for the name of the new president and then i will take a decision.

If it's acariès?
Everythings shows now that the name of the new president is not chosen yet. Acariès has a simple role, an audit task, don't sell the bear before having killed it! Wait and see...

you know as troussier has spent the 15past years abroad, he's not well known in france. We know he has done good job with the south africa selection ( qualification for the 1998 world cup) and with the jappan team ( 1/8final during the 2002 world cup) that's all we know about him.
he's concidered as a good technician ( in the Alain perrin and arsen wenger way..) . he likes 3-5-2 (5-3-2) and this might push some of our player off the starting 11 unless they don't show they can adapt ( lizarazu for exemple who prefers the 442, and might be replaced by olembe who is better on the wing in a 3-5-2.....

Pendant l'entraînement matinal de deux heures et demie, il court après Bixente Lizarazu sur le côté droit, lors d'un exercice d'animation offensive concernant la défense.
« Pousse, pousse, Liza », crie le nouvel entraîneur de l'OM, sur les basques de Lizarazu, tout en guidant d'un geste ample le reste de la défense. A three men defence?
enjoying tactic, the "white wizard" (he was called that way by the bafana bafana) tries to introduce his vision of football. Two distinct teams opposes a 11 iron-dummies team. This fake team tactic is 4-3-3. twenty or thirty times, the OM team try to applicate a good downfield "relance" starting from a 3-men defence. Obviously, the three men defence could be the new religion for l'OM. It's the same for the trio Ecker , Dehu, Beye or Olembe Meite Christanval, they have to respect the "relance" wings using all the width of the ground. and do not jump accross the mildfield.
Paying attention to all details, Troussier doesn't interupt his players oftenly. If he does, he does it with "tact". The times is gone when the former jappan coach took players by the shirt and throw them away just like bag full of dirty cloth and maked fun of them in public.
Yesterday, for the second training session of the day in a fest ambiance ( in front of 3000 supporters), Troussier came back to a 4men defence ( ferreira , dehu, meite, olembe) which won against nantes last saturday. Intox or easier solution? In the cold weather of Granville, the 5th of the "championnat" works very professionaly. Wayting the first test of the Troussier era, within two days , against Caen.

They are being linked with Jan Koller of Dortmund again and Dimitar Berbatov of Leverkusen who they say Liverpool is also after. I for one hope they get one of these guys because I think it would be great for a French team to steal a good player from a top team in the German League. It was also interesting to read how they tried to get Gabriel Heinze to come there from PSG but he decided to go to England instead.
