moi je pense que Manchester City ont besoin de chaque but qu'ils peuvent marquer a ce moment, alors ils vont demander les yeux de la tete pour Sibierski

Pedretti just got here and already Real "scum" Madrid are trying to steal him away. He's had a decent year so far but I didnt think it was that good a year to make Real stand up and take notice already. Madrid are scumbags how could anyone support a club like that who has an unlimited budget and can just buy anyone they want. I couldnt support a club like that Im not a gloryhound.

ugh. pedretti has barely been on the field enough to be noticed.
i'm glad anigo is gone, but they truly need to clean house, promoting from within isn't the answer. we need a completely fresh start.

Just heard a interview of P. Troussier on RMC.
He seems to imply he's got the job... (not
confirmed at all, but he gave "clues")
Affaire a suivre...

"Il reste encore des détails sur la teneur du contrat à régler avant que je puisse officiellement vous annoncer qu'il est le nouvel entraîneur de l'OM", a-t-il précisé. Cette annonce devrait intervenir sous 48 heures. Mais, le Manager Général a affirmé que quoiqu'il arrive, Albert Emon dirigerait la rencontre face à Nantes, samedi.

it would be better to sign him (Philippe Troussier) a contract till end of this season and extend it if the team did well with him.

I disagree. Pedretti has hardly made an impact this year, his creative flare has yet to really show itself. He's not a bust, yet, but he's not Galactico material yet either. I think Real are simply trying to create an inroad into French football, there's an awful lot of young talent in Ligue Une that Real would love to get their hands on, and there might be no better way to get their head in the door than by giving Marseille some cash.

Isn't anyone going to say anything? What a great great game by Marseille today.
The one and only blip was the way they conceded the goal: the opposition wide open to score ..again.
Thier attacking was so brilliant to watch today. They flowed and I hope to god they can continue this, what amazing potential if this team stay on the track. I don't know how many shots on goal they had but it was a lot - you can say it was "too much" for Marseille, ha. They attacked very fluently and creatively and were rather unlucky not to score 5 or 6 more!
Ahh, I am happy. I hope Troussier doesn't mess things up! :p Maybe they should keep the caretaker coach.
Oh, also, three things: I was very happy to see Olembe start finally. Now I see why they signed Fiorese.
And.. they finally sang again in the Velodrome!

OM 3 - 1 Nantes
Vélodrome
A Marseille, le 27/11/04
L1, 15th matchday
attendance :40 000 environ (still some kinda "strike")
refery : M.Vileo
weather : cold, behold my dripping nose this morning
Goals : Méîté (15e), Fiorèse (21e), Marlet (90e+1) pour l'OM ; Yapi (58e) pour Nantes
yellow cards : Guillon (21), Viveros (38), Bagayoko (73) à Nantes ; Br. Cheyrou (71), Barthez (90), Ferreira (90+3) à l'OM
red card : Viveros (66)
teams:
OM : Barthez (cap) - Ferreira, Déhu, Meïté, Olembe - Fiorèse (Nasri 85), Pedretti, Eduardo Costa, Batlles - Koke (Br. Cheyrou 64), Bamogo (Marlet 76)
Nantes :Landreau (cap) - Cetto, Caceres, Guillon, Viveros - Yapi Yapo, Savinaud, Fae (Hadjadj 46), Quint (Capoue 85) - Bagayoko, Pujol (Stinat 74)
good game from the olympians, probably the best from the begining of the season. They knew Troussierr was in the stadium and all wanted to prove they've got their place in the team.
good come back from olembe.Good defence from meite and dehu.Battles made his best first half . Bamogo was (quite^^) unstopable . Barthez didn't have much to do ( except conceding a goal). koke has run a lot, but wasn't very decisive (he hited the bar either during first half).
Pedretti's performance, especialy during the second half was a little bit underachieved concidering what he's up to ( with france nt for exemple).
fiorese was.....equal to himself, he oftenly eats the grass^^
eduardo costa was not bad neither was ferreira.

Bamogo and Cheyrou 's reactions
Habib Bamogo
"This game is a good answear to all the attacks we suffered. More than wining 3points, we showed good play and our supporters enjoyed, we have to keep it on. I am happy for fabrice ( fiorese) and steve (marlet) they struggled and offered us the victory. We defended well in order to attak properly and we could work it out. Ther's more solidarity beteween each other, our only answear is on the ground and that makes us forget....."
Bruno Cheyrou
"This is a goud eve for us. extra-sportives buzz from this week forced us to concentrate on our play and stayed us awared for this game. The resign of anigo was a strong sign and allowed us to understand everything wasn't his fault.a new page of the season is now on, and this week we start with a victory, that's great. We are 3rd ex aequo ( withe sochaux and auxere) tonight wiithout having been much brillant. If every one of us comes back to his normal skills individualy, we can expect a good end of the season."

Meïté has scored the first OM goal this season scored by a defender.
Don't you see that very strange? one goal scored by defenders in 16 games!!
we missed you Van Buyten :(

Damn good news. Now if only they can string a few games together like this. I haven't seen Bamogo ever erally look "unstopable" i'll be looking fiorward to catching the highlights this week, for once.
