Anigo set to stay on
Marseille coach Jose Anigo looks set to remain as coach, despite tendering his resignation last week.
Anigo had offered to step down after a defeat to Paris Saint Germain, but the weekend's victory over Strasbourg has convinced the coach that the players are prepared to work for him.
"I stay," said Anigo. "The players have shown a lot of courage during the last week.
"They have assured me of their support and, by staying, I will return the favour.
"On Tuesday I will meet the director of sport Pape Diouf to talk about the past fortnight.
"When we spoke at the weekend he said I should try not to shoulder all the blame because that was what he was here for."

So after beating a bottom half team he's convinced the players are ready to fight? Awesome.

It's just a matter of time. Two or three defeats, and he will resign.

Rumor that Jacques Santini could be manager of Lens... or Marseille.

Someone said that Santini would be better off at Lens because at Marseille there's too much pressure and expectations. Remember before Santini's named was brought up as possible Lens coach Bruno Metsu was the big named mentioned there. Marseile and Lens one should get Santini and the other one Metsu. Both are good choices.

" euh..I..euh..am...euh...
...very happy....to be ...euh ...here"
you're right when you say he wouldn't stand the pressure in marseille.
he would obviously have suicided himself after a few weeks of gossips in the press ^^

What does Anigo doing??? He cannot beat Ajaccio.
What does Bouchet waiting for?? He must show him the door.
I don't agree with the idea of bringing Santini or Metsu. They have no experience to work under pressure.

Merci pour tous tes articles, Marsi.
I wonder if Man Citeh would let Sibierski go though. He's been scoring for them lately.
