Scratching my head on this one...yes Chris needs the 1st team experience but how he's under Dudek after our gaffer change is beyond me. Jerzy is a good guy but his mistakes are far worse off then Sander ever was..can't wait till the Pole is gone.

All the quotes in this article are from Coventry, so I'm not putting too much stock in it. Having said that, I am travelling at the moment (now in Vancouver -- so not to far from usscouse I guess) and my girlfriend's laptop cannot access the official site. If there is anything there regarding this story containing quotes from LFC I would be interested to hear about them. Personally I hope the club hold on to Chris in the hope that he can stay injury-free long enough to string together a couple of games and give us all a good look at what he can actually do. At the moment I feel like he is still an unknown quantity.

What the hell are you doing in this part of this great country??? I spent some time in Sydney working for QANTAS. Back before you were born though. :) ..No, we didn't have to chase the abbos or roos off the runway.
Hard to see how Liverpool can afford to rent out a goalie when we don't have a backup for Dudek. A little tired of the 'let's gang up on Dudek crowd' so far this season he might have been criticized for being out of position on a near side goal. Some short sighted fools blamed him for a goal the Carra headed just as Dudek was going for it, I don't know any keepers who'd have got to that. Against Bolton he made several excellent stops that saved the team from total embarrassment.
Having said that, we are a little short on goalies.

Kirkland leaving Liverpool for Coventry is about as true as Viera, Henry and Pires leaving Arsenal for Crystal Palace because they are bored with winning all the time. Coventry might want Kirkland back so they can get the rest of their money, but it aint gonna happen!

I'm in Vancouver, BC -- having just spent the past six days driving from Chicago to San Francisco to Vancouver (and doing all the driving while my girlfriend sat in the passenger seat complaining of boredom!). She is starting graduate school at the University of British Columbia so I'm helping her move in and get settled. You've certainly picked a beautiful area to live in. I'm quite partial to Northern California myself (as is, I'm sure, our resident numeral), but I'm looking forward to having an excuse to get up here over the next several years.
But back to LFC and our keepers -- I agree that Jerzy has taken some unfair criticism on these boards and that we are short on keepers. Kirkland is never fit, Harrison is not ready yet... is Luzi still under contract? I thought he did well when called upon in an emergency last season... I don't see him as a number one but he made some good, brave saves under great pressure when called upon. And then, of course, there was Paul Jones....

It is a great place to live, I'd tried So Cal. great experience in my day but I had to grow up...well..!!! In Park City Utah I think I was on my skis every day the snow was on the ground. Lived on the Oregon coast in sand dune country but I couldn't sustain life so moved up here to earn a living and love it. It's a great place to sail, Puget Sound is like a giant lake, with tides, 2 tides a day even.
Sounds like you're having a great time Vancouver is a pretty good party town, very cosmopolitan.
So what became of rumours of Canizaris..???

Regarding Liverpool's (or, Rafas) side in the goalie mix, I read somewhere that Rafa considers the two an even match, and that he wants to see Kirkland in action before he chooses which one is the main goalie..
Seems logical I think :)
Kirks himself, well he's definetly not interested in leaving ;)
