I'd like to see this...
----------Dudek-----------
Josemi--Carra--Hyypia--JAR
Harry---Xabi--SG---Warnock
---------Garcia------------
---------Cisse-------------
With Baros to replace Warnock if we need a goal. It's much more in line with Rafa's tactics at Valencia and would keep Warnock in the team, as I think he's been outstanding so far.
Although Harry might still be injured, in which case, Baros for Warnock and a 4-4-2 with Harry and Luis swapping throughout.

I agree with Feek, Warnock did a heck of a job against Bolton. I still don't understand why he was taken out at half-time. Leave him in there for WBA

This line-up looks ok. Good thinking with bringing Baros off the bench

Did you want to alert Rafa, or should I? ;)
And by the way, I meant Baros in for Harry, if he's injured (since he's the injured one) and not Warnock, with Garcia on the right.

I think Baros should be starting on the field. We just need to get more quality ball down to him and Ciise from the midfield players.

Maybe if Gerrard wouldn't be so insistent on hitting 40 yard balls every time he touches it, they would have the correct service. He is improving with this, but Rafa still needs to calm him down a bit more.

New season, new manager, new players = new fans.
We were all newbies once.

So do I -- this is however one of those that must be won even as we break in a new team and a new system.

This is going to sound like a newbie question, but what are the major threats that West Bromwich Albion have against Liverpool? Are they going to sit deep and hit us on the counter? Do they have any good fast strikers or midfield players on loan from the bigger clubs?
Also, from what i know, i would also like to see Garcia in the hole behind the strikers just to see what he can do and if not, just move him out right again. I guess we can experiment against the smaller teams like WBA without forfeiting 3 points :( hopefully?

The Baggies will probably play for a point -- 10 behind the ball and hope for the best. They will look to 103 year old striker Kanu and new acquisition Robert Earnshaw for scoring. Current Welsh and former Tranmere midfielder Jason Koumas is probably their best midfielder although they feature a variety of decent British players around the pitch. Earnest and hard working would be a fair description of the side.

Expect a bunker ball tactic.

I expect 3 points.
This is another of those: "If we cant get 3 then what's the rest of the season going to be like" games.
I worry.

Expect a bunker ball tactic.
Probably, during the latter part of the match... but not the full 90 minutes.
