My wife bought me stock in United this summer as a wedding present and this made me wonder how many of you fellow fans own stock in the club?

I own shares from Shareholders United, which doesn't technically make me an official United shareholder, but its pretty close. SU basically buys the stock based on its members' contributions, so I think they actually own it. But anyways yeah I guess in that sense I am a shareholder.

If you save up your pocket money or work harder on the paper round then you might be able to buy three! Good eh.

I've owned shares for a little over a year...I enjoy getting the extra stuff in the mail...It's clearly not an investment though...

If I had money I would...either buy a few shares for myself or join SU, but alas, I am a poor college student.

Same here. Have to pay for tuition so I don't have the money to buy stocks.
I know a single United share costs 250+ pounds, but how much does a share from Shareholders United cost? Maybe I can afford to buy some from SU.

 250 pence, not pounds. ;)
SU buys at the market rate, and they buy in bulk once a month. Really its not all that expensive to buy just a few shares.
