Dedicated to those movies that you run across on cable and you watch until the end, regardless of how many times you've seen them.

Thread inspired by "Chinatown".

I have two. Jaws and Dazed and Confused. At this point I could probably recite each line for both of them.

A few:

* Breakfast Club
* Gotti (the HBO movie)
* Bronx Tale
* Requiem for a Heavyweight (old, isn't on much, but good work from Jackie Gleason)
* Hoosiers

Die Hard and Home Alone. I'm not sure why though.

Not clear why, but I can never turn "Big" off. I also agree about "Die Hard". Oh, and "The Shawshank Redemption".

The Great Escape. I just know that Steve McQueen is going to make it over that barbed wire one of these days.

I refuse to incriminate myself. My "list" seems to be constantly changing anyway.

The Passion Of The Christ!

Yeah, that's on all the time. It's like Law and Order.

I'm almost embarrassed to admit this, but Forrest Gump is on my list.

Believe it or not, the better a movie the more likely I am to turn the channel, especially if I have it on DVD. I'm a screen format & sound format snob, I guess.

It's schlock like - picking a crappy movie I like at random - Starship Troopers that I can't turn off, more often than not.

Can't Hardly Wait

I guess I'm just a huge Ethan Embry fan.

If by "Ethan" you mean J. Love's left breast, and by "Embry" you mean her right, I'm right there with you.

I keed. I'm keeding. I actually do like Ethan Embry. Tho I do like J. Love's breasts, too.

Exactly. I can't turn off some really bad movies-- Eight Legged Freaks, or Blade II, or 13th Warrior...

'Course, there are a couple great movies that fall into that category as well... FoTR and 2 Towers...
