Out on DVD today... I plan to buy a couple copies... it will be interesting to watch the secular Academy Awards ignore this film and the resulting excuses why!

Easily this is the best film of the year!

Just when you think they couldn't possibly kick his ass any more... they kick it for another hour and a half.

Then they crucify him.

Oh it was a delight to watch.

I thought it was a weak ripoff of "The Last Temptations of Christ". Can't Hollywood come up with an original story any more?

But yeah, it is good to see strong, masculine Jewish characters in film for a change.

Our Lord and Savior entirely wasn't pleased with Gibson's work:

You know full well that Jesus would've walked out halfway through and snunk into Soul Plane, just like all the rest of us.

Reading this makes me regret "Schdlier's List" didn't have a blooper reel.

It was a movie I'm glad I saw, but that I really don't want to see again. I would rather spend my money on "The Passion of the Jew", but thats just me.

No, just you. If you wanted to talk about the film's artistic merit etc, etc, that would be fine, but you do not. You're incapable of carrying on that type of an intelligent discussion anyway. Instead you inject your political crap about what the "secular" academy is going to do.
Take it to the politics forum moron.

I never thought I'd do this but here goes, ITN posted about the release of a movie to dvd. You can discuss that. There is certainly a political element to that movie, this element can be discussed in the Politics forum, though a certain amount can slide here (but not much). If you would like to talk about POTC based on its artistic merits you may do so here but the next post that does not address the movie itself will be deleted.
