View Full Version : WTF? This is pretty screwed up

I was trying to post a link to the onion bag but kept getting weird ***** stuff and I didn't know what happened, until I found out this message board replaces every instance of the_onion_bag (without the _'s) with **************. This ploy to censor out competition is simply wrong. Is anyone else aware of this problem?

Oh...He's an Irish announcer here in the states who is famous (or infamous) for his line after a goal.. "Puts it in the back of the ol' onion bag"..
I guess it was only a small joke for those over here..

Yeah its unfortunate but the_onion_bag was censored supposedly after some sort of spamming incident. It's particularly unfortunate because they are about a million times better than $hitbag, who have also taken over the official United Online Megastore.

Okay, so if the spamming incident has passed should the ban also be lifted?

Wake up a bit. Would you expect to see an advert for Sony on Panasonic's website? No. Remember that although this is just a fun message board to some, it is also a business. You don't give advertising space to those who could take away your business.
