That's easy, yes.
Both as a player and as a professional. Looking forward to his enjoying his last season...

I like his fighting spirit particularly at his age. He still does alright as well.

I got a good opinion of him, you got to give him props for being able to score so much at his age. On the pitch anyway

Eh. Could live with him, could live without him, which pretty much describes everyone on the face of the earth minus about 25 folks.

I dunno, I don't know him! :) ;)
But Shearer is the best striker in contemporary English football. When he was at Blackburn, he was England's greatest striker without doubt.

I hate that arsehole. He is a cheat but always gets away with it because he is "Saint Alan", England's favourite son... What a joke!

As a professional footballer, whose job is too score goals, how can you not like him.
That being said, he's as close to a cheating bastard who lives on a big reputation to get away with stuff players of less stature wouldn't as you'll find in the game today.

He's a big headed shít who can only score penalties. When someone sets him up he doesn't run and say thanks to them he sprints off with his hand in the air as if he did everything and uis the only player on his team that matters, then waits for the assister to come to him so he can menially and quietly say thanks.

Maybe it's just me but I think that he is Holding New Castle back. He should have retired last season and given the youngers players a chance to play so New Castle can once again play and score well. Bellamy could use some good quality playing time. Rather than having this useless old fart taking up time with his huge ego. England Golden boy my left boot!

I hate people who know nothing about the subject which they are discussing, and through sheer ignorance and arrogance think their views are right.
You just made a right t wat of yourself and for the record, yes I do like Alan Shearer.
