I am not a big fan of Angulo.
He is a decent player. He is very fast, versatile(can play right back, right wing, and up front)has great work rate.
He is not very gifted technically.
Overall I think he is a decent signing due to his low price.Wish him good luck.

Wenger has made some great buys, and some really dodgy ones. I'm sorry to say that Angulo will fall into the latter category. He enjoyed one good season in the big time when Valencia reached the CL final to lose to Madrid, but has since produced nothing. The most obvious thing about him as an attacking player is that he has no skill, and no great crossing ability to make up for that either. He'll give you the effort, but he will look extremely out of place among Arsenal's technically gifted players. Stupid purchase in my opinion, Valencia shouldn't miss him all that much.

Angulo is a rough diamond, and Wenger specializes in rough diamonds.
But personally I don't want him at Arsenal, we already have enough plays in his position.

Angulo doesn't have youth on his side like most of Wenger's other rough diamonds, with Angie it's basically what you see, jack of all trades and master of none. The price is right but player isn't. JMO though.

Too bad for all of you. Angulo passed the medical at Arsenal's, however on a sudden (seems to be very sudden) change of opinion decided to return to Valencia and not play at Arsenal. There must be something that he didn't like about going to another country, who knows. He is due to speak to Orti, Valencia's president tomorrow, who is waiting for him with open arms.
Angulo was one of the best players or our youth teams, he is gifted technically, he has speed and goal, and plays all over the midfield and up. I was always under the impression that he was lacking a bit of character, like he is not very talkative and like he has a certain point of shyness that has always stopped him from becoming the player many thought he would become from his earlier times. He is still young, but now I see that he will not see better days than those Valencia may still give him. What he did now, refusing Arsenal and such an opportunity looks like the act of a child, specially considering that everything was signed, that he flew to England and passed an exam, and that he just about run away. This is refusing to compete, not that Valencia is not a high competition team, but Arsenal is superior to them and Angulo was going to get less minutes or have to prove himself. Maybe it wasn't for him.
So much for Angulo.
