Tomorrow we have an early game. 12:00 PM BST or otherwise 6:00 AM here in Texas. Guess I get to have United before work. According to the BBC, teams for tomorrow. Also they indicate Saha may start with Kleberson giving way.

Thanks for the post, Mikey - surprised MM didn't start one for this match. How bout some shields, MM?

Should be a ********ing drubbing by UNited - we really need to show our class here by getting a 2-0 or better shutout to prove we can challenge the Arse for league title. We can't drop points here, that's for damn sure.

If Saha starts, I'd be surprised if Scholes-Fletcher weren't the midfield pairing.

I expect the lineup to be:
--------------Howard------------------
G.Neville---O'Shea---Silvestre---Spector
Ronaldo----Djemba2---Scholes----Giggs-
------------Saha-----Smith-------------

Spector to start again at left back after his fine performance against Blackburn, and "you know who" will not be in the stands for this match.

I suspect you might be right, BillyManutd, though I'm not happy with DjDj (come back Nicky, all is forgiven  ). I'm uncertain too about what sort of mess Ferguson might make of the O'Shea/Silvestre pairing at CB :(

Call me pessimistic but I dont really want to see a 4-4-2 against Everton... I really feel like Smith has been doing the job and that Kleberson and Fletcher should have a go in CM with Scholes playing behind Smithers... we have been creating chances but our defending has been suspect at times... I just dont want to see us give up any goals to this team... If everything is undercontrol at the half, ie... scores tied, or we are up then Saha can come in for Scholes (he will be glad for the rest later on and Klebs wont get that many minutes when everyone is healthy) and then we can go to a 4-4-2 playing more possitive football at the end and taking the game over... my reason for not playing 4-4-2 right away is complex...

1... I want Kleberson and DjDj both to get playing time with the least amount of pressure on them, this will ensure that later on in the season when we need them they will be confident.

1b. DjDj will be needed while Keane is out no matter what, so for now I say stick with him Fergie and show you are confident in his capabilities... when Klebs plays DjDj wont have to worry about creating cuz Klebs can do that, when Fletcher plays we wont be as creative in the midfield I believe...

2. Scholes and Fletch or Scholes and DjDj in midfield would be a bad idea because it would leave DjDj or Fletch too much work to do and Gravesen is playing like a man possesed... 3 guys in his general vacinity would not be a bad thing imo.

3. Don't fix it if it aint broke... Smithers is en fuego right about now playing with Scholes behind him

4. Lets not rush Louis back, we want to make sure he is fully fit, there will be plenty of games for him later on...

that said, I kind of expect to see a 4-4-2 with Ronaldo somehow on the bench to rest him and improve our defense... this is my guess....

----------Saha------Smithers

Giggs-----DjDj---Scholes-----Fletcher

Spector--Silvestre--O'Shea--G.Neville

---------------Howard

Bench...

Ronaldo
Richardson
Roy [Carroll] (an "R" theme here)
Resembles Gary (Phil)
Really Fast (Bellion)

Smith doing alot of dirty work all over the place as usual and Scholes not as attacking and making a mess of more than a few tackles...

Eh? According to my programming guide and soccertv.com, it's only on in Canada in the morning. FSW US is having a replay at 12:30... during the middle of my Business Associations class :(.

Freaking rugby being televised instead... anyone hear differently?

Yes, it is not on TV till 12:00 CDT or how that translates to your time zone, however, it is available on Match Tracker & 105.4 Century FM @ 12:00 PM BST, however that translates to where you are. :)

Darn. I was hoping that FSW had come to its senses and figured that Man Utd versus anybody's going to get better ratings than rugby.

Seriously, sometimes that station's programming decisions are just bizarre. Darts? Please.

Game is on at noon in England. That's the replay. It's live on FSW Canada.

Johno: I don't really have anything against rugby. But I have a very hard time believing that that programing is going to attract more than if they aired Man Utd v. Everton live instead. If soccer's a small fish in American sport, rugby's a freaking minnow.

Awww crap. What's with FSW saying it was live then? Unless I was sadly mistaken. :(

EDIT: I agree, why couldn't they show the rugby AFTER the match on delay? FSW make no sense sometimes...

Well, it makes sense to them, they figure less people will be awake at 6AM to see it... Rugby generally gets shown during their off peak hours so this is just par for the course with them tbh...

Gk, but Everton's Steve Watson's cross went to Kilbane who's header went just over.

Rest for Giggs today, Ronaldo on the left, Fletcher on the right. Kleberson and Scholes the CM's today and Smith and Saha upfront...

Saha, nice move down the left... good pace, forces a corner...

short to Ronaldo, dribbles well, counter by Everton nearly a goal there... Howard off his line could not get to the ball in time and Spector to the rescue...

Everton with alot of the ball, but United counters... through Ronaldo and Neville... Fletcher drifing to the center with Scholes playing on the right, sometimes...

Fletcher cross to Saha... overhit, GK, but good build up for United...

Good possesion and build up... Klebs to Scholes, to Neville whose left footed shot was hit over the bar, but excellent build up, made by Kleberson...
