Not nearly as good as Iran's Sydney 2000 Olympic Games record. Hopefully they'll be a major change of managment in Iran's sport governing body and we'll reach our goal of 10 to 20 medals in China 2008 :)

We were always 2nd after Japan in Asian Games totall medals in the 70's but we were absent from Asian Games in the 80's because of Iran-Iraq war and been placing 5th - 6th in medal table since our retun to the Asian Games ( Since Bejing games of 1990 ). But we still dominate Asian Games' men's martial arts, wrestling, weight-lifting, and Football :) We also get a few medals in women's Teakwando and Shooting :)

we could have been 19th man  we got at least 3 golds taken away from us.
Did you see heydari's match today against the uzbekistan guy? ******** what a screw up that was  im still a bit pissed about miresmaili too if he had competed and more importantly our women were allowed to compete in every sport we could finish in the top 10 :) ahh well!
