PS-does the amoutn of transfers you make have anything to do with your total score? I made 4 transfers and my total score dropped 6 points. Dropping me from my perch at 10 to 16!

You remind me of last year when I didn't read the rules and instructions. Last year each transfer cost 2 points per transfer. This year you get one free transfer per matchday but every succeeding transfer cost 2 points per. I would hold off on the transfers right now. You never know who could get injured in there league matches on the weekend.

I'm not foolish enough in thinking that my good start will last, therefore not trash-talking. We could also use the league forum on the site itself (blasphemy, I know)...

Does anyone know if uefa.com is doing a Champions League fantasy game this year? I've been checking the site, and haven't seen anything yet, and the CL kicks off in 6 days...

they always wait until the last minute, just keep checking - that's what i'll be doing...

I wrote uefa.com yesterday asking when the CL Fantasy would be up this year, and haven't heard anything back.
I imagine Friday (Sept. 12) would be the earliest, as there are Euro2004 qualifiers today, and coverage of those results will continue into tomorrow.

My team is entered, I've created a new league called, you guesed it, BigSoccer. It's a 'private league', but anyone can join. The code is:

I'm in, too. It was a confusing search on BS for the right thread. First I started a league myself, then tried to register for last year's league after reading this thread.

I have a team in but the server keeps crashing today especially when I try to join the league.
I'll get in on the league eventually I suppose.

Fiore and Inzaghi carry my team to 45 points, good for 3rd in the BigSoccer league. Raul Bravo and Pavon are disappointments. Perhaps it was foolish to pick up Madrilenos in defense...
