Seriously, aside from having two vans with their logo on it and a grill, what has this group done to attract fans to support the club?

I still need to pick up my T-shirt from them. And that other stuff that comes with a membership. Also, I think they should change thieir location of where they set up shop.
I thought they were planning some trip to England. Though, I don't really read my emails that carefully. So I could be mistaken.

I remember that email, and I'm not in Crew Union. It was an email written by Mike Lapper giving Columbus fans an opportunity to go experience the football culture in England. I haven't heard anything else about it.

The England trip is just for Crew fans in general, not just Crew Union members.
I know the trip to England is in the planning stages, and if people were interested they were asked to call or e-mail Lapper to let them know so he could guage interest and then plan the trip. I forget the price tossed around in the e-mail but it seemed like a damn good bargin.

Lapper showing off football culture in England?
Day 1
"Okay we're in the mini bus on the way to the match...Johnny your next to the window so it's your job to shout abuse at any opposing fans. Throwing bottles is fine but remember this is only a week long trip so we don't need you spending it down the magistrates."
The pre-match drink
"Okay now this is the barmaid everyone. She is here for your personal amusement. After nine pints she will be the most gorgeous woman you have ever seen."
"Look Billy, I know you're only 10 but if you really want to get into the fotball culture you're going to have to drink all these rounds of Holstens so get to it"
one hour later
"Come on Billy you ponce...hold that cigarette up like a man. Straighten up your Burberry...go on here's a tenner get us a ********ing round in"
30 mins later
"Come on kids the fcuking Chelsea scum are down Stafford street lets fcuking batter them!"
The price was $2500, on what planet is that a bargain?

Wow, that's exactly what I was thinking.
And yeah, I guess it was just all Crew fans. All those emails get shuffled together, so their more like a blur to me. :)
Mike Lapper, no offense, is the last person I'd want to drink Supper Tennants with and go watch a match with. I'd rather go with an 'ard case like Eggy.

If you note 6 to 7 games in 11 days in England, That's a good price for Flight, Hotels and travel. Try to do that yourself and see what prices you get plus tickets for a game. Here is what was stated in the email.
"Leave Port Columbus on a Thursday (sometime in April…this is when the E.P.L. is almost over and the race for the championship….or relegation is at its climax) arrive in England on Friday morning….over the next 11 days we would see approximately 6-7 Premiership games (Manchester United with Tim Howard, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Fullham with McBride and Bocanegra, obviously these games would have to be TBA but I can assure you that with the contacts that not only I have but the company that we have partnered up with, we can get the tickets- Do you know that there is a 10 year waiting list to get Manchester United season tickets??) If you have never been to an E.P.L. game…it is indescribable….the passion, the excitement, the fans…makes my hairs on the back of my neck stand up just talking about it!!!
The trip would obviously include all the sightseeing elements depending upon what city we happen to be in….but for sure we would hit London and Manchester. The price of a trip like this is right around $2,500. The only thing that is not included is your food and what you plan on purchasing at the shops…or the famous English “pubs”. We would take care of everything else….Flights, accommodations, tickets to all the games we attend, and our own privately operated and exclusive tour bus with tour guides"

If you want the England experience you have to go on an away trip with your team. Plain and Simple.

Reading @ West Ham. In the Reading section a month or so ago.
My parents to this day were still amazed at the amount of cops around...
It was a pretty surreal experience...
