Even without Michael Owen Liverpool still had too much attacking class for Bolton as Gerard Houllier's strikers finally discovered their goalscoring boots to keep in touch with Arsenal.

It was a very good game, I just wish we'd got something out of it.

I'm really impressed with the way we're playing, at this rate we'll comfortably finish mid-table and give a few teams a stuffing along the way.

Another point about this game was that it was a very understrength Bolton with 2 players in the back 4 never having played together before (Livesey and Campo). Speaking of Campo he made a hell of a difference when he came on, he got forward (and scored) he marshalled the defence, he acted as sweeper and made some superb tackles. With Bulent, Ricketts, NGotty and Okocha to come back the future looks bright :D
